Sources in Kollywood say that despite a good start in Kollywood with 7aum Arivu, Shruti Haasan is looking to establish herself in Tamil films. The actress has just one Tamil film – 3 – in her kitty at the moment as compared to the five Telugu ventures she has signed.
The five films will take about three years to complete and Shruti may not be in a position to sign any Tamil films in that period, say sources.
However, Shruti is looking forward for 3’s release because she has a meaty role in the film and is paired opposite the National award winning actor Dhanush.
