Thalaikonam, a film starring newbies Jithesh and Ri, is getting ready for a release. The film’s audio was launched recently at the Abhirami Mega Mall. Abhirami Ramanathan was the chief guest to this event and he released the first copy of the CD which was received by Namitha.
Thalaikonam also stars Ganja Karuppu, Kotta Sreenivasa Rao, Feroz Khan, Abhinayasri, and Pandu. Samithirakani’s assistant K Padmaraj has directed this film which has been produced by Thirumalai Sivam of SJS International.
All those who attended this audio launch event were given a Thulasi plant instead of flower bouquets.
Speaking at this event, Namitha said that the success of small and big budgets films depends on the fans and she appealed to all the movie buffs to make this film a huge success by watching it in theatres.
Abhirami Ramanathan said that small budget films are very important for running a theatre because one cannot expect a big budget film to release every week throughout the year. He reiterated that if small budget films are not released, several theatres may have to close down.
