The Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF) is getting ready to roll. The event will happen from December 14th to 22nd. In a formal function Sarath Kumar, Lissy Priyadarshan and Suhasini unveiled the trophy to be given to what is adjudged the best film. Academy Award nominee Shekhar Kapoor will be participating in CIFF.
About a 150 films made in as many as 44 countries will be screened at CIFF. Twelve Tamil films will be featured. Aadukalam, Thoonganagaram and Deiva Thirumagal will be among the films to be aired at this prestigious event. CIFF has been arranged by the Indo Film Appreciation Foundation and will also host films that have made a splash at film festivals across the globe.
