Vengai team is camping in Karaikudi and will be stationed there for the next month or so. Director Hari setting up the story in a village backdrop was the initial news about this film, but we now hear that there is a surprise that fans could not decipher until the film is released.
Generally, Hari’s films revolve around a large family set in a village scenario but this time he has deviated.
Vengai has Dhanush and Tamannah playing lead roles. Speaking about the film, Dhanush has said that Hari is a strict director on the sets and would not hesitate to extract work from the artistes until he got the desired results.
