Sasi Kumar and Samuthirakani were ones that brought the differently-abled Abinaya to the film industry. Though this actress could not speak or hear, she stunned everyone who watched Nadodigal with her excellent performance. And this has earned her another important role in Eesan.
On her experience working with Sasi and Samuthirakani, she has conveyed that Sasi is like a brother to her and Samuthirakani is her Godfather.
It has to be mentioned here that Abinaya won the Filmfare Best Female Debut (South) and Vijay Award for Best Supporting Actress for Nadodigal.
