Ramarajan was seriously hurt in a car accident near Thirumangalam, Madurai. He was traveling to Thirunelveli when the driver lost control of the car and hit the median which toppled the vehicle upside down. Unfortunately, the car’s driver Raja Rathinam died on the spot and Ramarajan and his assistant Das suffered grievous injuries.
Both of them were admitted to a hospital in Thirumangalam by the local people and were later shifted to another hospital in Madurai for further treatment. The doctors, on examining Ramarajan, said that he is out of danger. His assistant, Das is also recuperating from hand injuries.
