Vijayakumar’s daughter Vanitha alleged that her father is absconding to evade arrest based on her police complaint but the actor had denied it and clarified that he was stationed in Hyderabad for medical treatment.
He had been releasing statements to the media from Hyderabad that he is not absconding and the press persons were eager to know about his arrival to Chennai.
However, this happened without any prior information. Vijayakumar went to the suburban police commissioner’s office and later to the CB-CID office recently to explain the circumstances of the case. He also pledged full support to the police regarding this issue.
