Gautham Menon will be calling the shots in Hindi from next week. The debonair director, who has churned out memorable hits in Tamil, will be busy directing Pratheek Babbar for the remake of the Tamil super-hit Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya in Hindi. Sources in the industry inform that the VTV remake will go on floors from the 6th of December 2010.
The Hindi version will have Amy Jackson as the heroine. It was earlier announced that Trisha will be the female lead in the Hindi version too, but she eventually pulled out of the project due to non-availability of dates.
