Shruthi Haasan was recently in Kerala, to wish her Malayali fans on the auspicious occasion of Thiru Onam. During an interview with a leading TV channel, the 3 actress expressed how she manages being a multi tasking person. She said, “I’ve always wanted to be a comprehensive performer like Kishore Kumar and many such personalities”. Her dad, Kamal Haasan is known for his multi tasking abilities. "That is exactly why he is called Sagala Kala vallavan,” she added. Her mother, Sarika is an actor and a designer and her sister Akshara is an assistant director and a dancer. “So balancing has never been an issue,” justified the actress.
However, she said that giving each skill its time is the best way to become a comprehensive performer. “I started as a musician. I attended music school, where I learnt singing, composing and band organizing. Later, I even had my own band,” said the actress. After being a good musician, she entered acting. “Acting was the last step in my artistic journey and I’m dedicating the time it requires to become a good actress,” expressed Shruthi. However, the highlight of the interview was her quote about her father- “I use my dad’s experience but never his reputation.”
