The Telugu dubbing rights of Vijay’s Thuppakki have been purchased by SVR Media, the same firm which released Ajith's Billa 2 as 'David Billa' in Andhra. SVR Media was also behind the Telugu dubbed versions of Dasavatharam, Vaaranam Aayiram and Marina.
Clarity on the release date of Thuppakki would be obtained once the long-running issue over the title is cleared. Thuppakki is directed by A.R.Murugadoss and co-stars Kajal Aggarwal who is a huge star in Telugu with projects with all the reigning Telugu superstars.
Murugadoss' previous movies like Ghajini and 7aum Arivu have also enjoyed success with the audiences in Andhra.
