Vimal, post his successful multi-starrer comedy caper, Kalakalappu, has a handful of films, most of which are multi-starrers. Vasanth’s Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal starring Cheran and Arjun, Amudhan’s Rendavadhu Padam starring himself and Arvind Akash and Pandiraj’s Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga along with Siva Karthikeyan are some of his upcoming films.
Adding to the list, he has signed up for Koothu alongside Prasanna. The film will be directed by debutante Padmamagan and will also star Arundhathi, Nandagi, Richard, Bharani, Harish and Nitish. Koothu will be a thriller and will be shot in dense forests.
