Hansika has given the reasons behind opting out of the Telugu remake of Vettai. She had to be replaced by Tamannah, who would now be pairing up with Naga Chaitanya.
Hansika had a problem with her dates as this remake had to release by the end of the year. Already the dates she had allotted couldn't be utilized by the team and with no less than six projects in hand, she had to make her way out.
Nevertheless she has wished this team good luck. Bale Thammudu is its title and the film also stars Andrea and Sunil.
