There were rumors doing the rounds that the Mozart of Madras, A.R.Rahman would be making a cameo appearance in a Malayalam flick to be directed by Shajoon Kariyal. This film is apparently about five friends with one of them (Biju Menon) working in Rahman's orchestra. This lent credence to rumors that Rahman would accede to this cameo.
But such rumors have been denied by the legend himself. Sources say that he has denied being part of any film as an actor. It seems he has also refused to grant the permission to make a movie based on him or members of his orchestra.
