Shalini Ajith is also a sporty personality like her husband Ajith. While Ajith's passion for racing and aero-modelling is well known, Shalini is good at badminton. Recently she proved her skills at the Tamil Nadu Senior State Ranking Tournament for badminton held in Trichy. She was seeded second in both the doubles and mixed doubles, and finished runners-up position in both the categories with her partners Priya and Prakash respectively.
Shalini has also confirmed her participation in the State Level Badminton championships to be held at Nagercoil later this month. Her perseverance and passion for the game is taking her places. Her daughter Anoushka was also present with her at the venue during the prize giving ceremony.
