Mani Ratnam’s next film, Kadal is steadily progressing. The team recently shot for a couple of romantic numbers penned by Vairamuthu in Kerala. The ace lyricist’s son Madhan Karky has also penned three songs for the film. AR Rahman has already finished composing four tracks for the film.
The major portion of the film has been canned in Manapad, Kerala, Andaman and few other coastal areas of Tamil Nadu. The word is that the team has now returned to Manapad again, to complete the left over scenes.
Karthik’s son Gautham and Radha’s daughter Thulasi Nair are making their debut as the lead in the film. Arvind Swamy, Lakshmi Manchu, Ponvannan and Thambi Ramaiah play crucial roles in the film. Rajiv Menon helms the camera and Sreekar Prasad is editing the film.
