Kalki Koechlin has been making waves in Bollywood with her choice of performance oriented roles in mainstream as well as offbeat films. She was basically raised in Pondicherry, had her schooling in Ooty and is very fluent in Tamil as well.
Though she is French, she admits that she is an Indian at heart. She is also interested in doing Tamil films as she was a fan of Tamil movies like Kaakha Kaakha and Subramaniapuram during her growing-up years.
