Vijay organized a special function for his fans who have been slogging it out for his charity organization, Makkal Iyakkam. The office bearers of his fan clubs who had done exceptional service for those in need were honored with gold rings and chains. Vijay commended them for the excellent work they have done in his name and asked them to continue to reach out to the needy.
In his speech, Vijay also had some advise for the fans. He requested them to make their own families their top priority. He said that it is his humble request that they take care of all their family's needs before reaching out to help others because the family should come first. Needless to say his fans were all ears and are keen on keeping up the good work.
