Gautham Menon has been canning his Neethane En Ponvasantham (NEPV), starring Jiiva and Samantha in the lead, for a very long time now. Since he is also simultaneously making the film in Telugu, with Nani in place of Jiiva, the film is taking more time than anticipated.
Meanwhile, we hear that Gautham Menon is planning to bring his Thuppariyum Anandhan starring Suriya on floors, post NEPV. The director describes Thuppariyum Anandhan as ‘a contemporary yet a period film’.
Suriya is also gearing up for the audio release of Maatraan that is scheduled to happen in Singapore on 9th August. He will be performing in the event with Harris Jayaraj. The actor also has in his kitty, Hari’s Singam 2, alongside Anushka, Hansika, Santhanam, Vivekh and Manorama.
