The land grab case against Vadivelu was settled amicably between the parties with the comedian handing the land in question to its rightful owner. Retired bank official Pazhaniappan filed a complaint with the Chennai Police Commissioner that Vadivelu and family usurped his 34 cents of lands through forged documents.
Following this complaint, a case was registered on Vadivelu and others. When it was brought to the comedian’s notice that he had purchased the land based on forged documents he agreed to settle the issue amicably by returning the land’s possession to its rightful owner Pazhaniappan.
