Udayanidhi Stalin has said that Oru Kal Oru Kannadi will be a Diwali release and his Red Giant Movies will release the film. According to Udayanidhi, who will be making his debut as the hero in OK OK, only the film’s satellite rights have been sold to Sun TV while his Red Giant Movies will retain the others rights.
It may be mentioned here that Udayanidhi’s cousin, Dhayanidhi Alagiri, the producer of the Ajith starrer Mankatha, had said earlier that he would release the film himself but finally gave in to the pressure from various quarters and sold the distribution rights to Sun Pictures.
Trade analysts opine that Udayanidhi may also follow suit if pressure mounts during the release of OK OK.
Meanwhile, the buzz is that the dubbing work of OK OK will begin today, as planned. The film is nearing completion and the final product will be ready for release on October 26th, 2011.
OK OK is a comedy flick directed by Rajesh. It stars Hansika as Udayanidhi’s leading lady.
