Silambarasan and Jiiva were in the eye of a media storm over their alleged clash. It has been reported that Jiiva said unsavory things about STR and the latter retaliated by saying that he won't respond as it would be beneath him. Bharath and Jai also jumped into the fray. STR's Vaanam co-star was unhappy that he had not been properly publicized during the promos and he held STR responsible for this, the press reported. Jai supported his buddy STR and told Jiiva to be careful about what he says at press conferences as it can have bad consequences and result in hurt feelings.
Jiiva put an end to all this bad blood by clarifying that he has no problems with STR and the media was responsible for taking what he had said out of context and blowing it out of proportion. He added that he wasn't exactly STR's best friend but that did not mean they were enemies either. Bharath also echoed this sentiment and said that he does not hold STR responsible for what happened with Vaanam.
So now it looks like all these frayed relationships are on the mend and the spirit of bonhomie is being restored.
