Celebrated lyricist Vairamuthu's son, Madhan Karky has created a lot of buzz by writing the lyrics in Chinese for a song, Harris Jayaraj composed. This track is for 7am Arivu, Murugadoss's film with Suriya and Shruti Hassan. The talented lyricist, who is also working as a Professor in Anna University is quite proficient in the language.
The song is an important part of the film and the script demanded that it be in Chinese. A Chinese teacher oversaw the words, a Chinese singer has done the vocals and Harris Jayaraj has used a lot of Chinese instruments to make it authentic. Word is that it has come out very well particularly after all the research and hard work that has gone into its making. Madhan Karky said that it was very challenging and creatively satisfying to do such a difficult piece.
