Veteran PRO ‘Glamour’ Krishnamurthy passed away at 1 am this morning. He was introduced as a PRO by the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and actor MG Ramachandran for his film Naan Aanaiyittal. ‘Glamour’ Krishnamurthy is survived by wife, son ‘Glamour’ Sathya and two daughters. He was the PRO to several leading film stars including MGR, Sivaji Ganesan, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Ravichandran, Jaishankar, Mohan, Murali, Suresh and others.
‘Glamour’ Sathya is a noted PRO today and Krishnamurthy's son-in-law Vijay Murali is a film producer. The last rites will take place this evening at the Krishnam Pettai burial ground in Chennai. The 74-year-old ‘Glamour’ Krishnamurthy was the honorary President of the PRO Union till his death and he was running a magazine Cine News. He has also published a film stars’ diary titled Glamour Guide. May his soul rest in peace.
