Silambarasan's Vaanam, directed by Krish, has successfully completed 100 days in Chennai. STR's turn as 'Cable' Raja was appreciated in a big way and critics agreed that this was one of his finest performances. Vaanam, which was a remake of Allu Arjun's Vedam, is repeating the success of the original. STR's earlier outing Vinnaithandi Varuvaya, which saw him in a sensitive, mature portrayal was also a blockbuster. So Vaanam is STR's second smash hit in a row.
The actor is over the moon with the way his career is going nowadays especially since he is one of the hottest stars in the tinsel town. STR is currently working hard on Vettai Mannan, Osthi, and Poda Podi. In Osthi, he will be sporting a six-pack, which is likely to send his stock soaring even further into the stratosphere.
