The
comedy elements in Marudhamalai and
Thalainagaram directed by Suraaj were
the highlights of the film and he has
established himself to be a director
whose films bring comic relief to the
audience. His upcoming project Padikkadhavan
with Dhanush is said to have action
sequences also along with comedy. Generally
comedy works out well for
Dhanush who seems to have a natural penchant
for humorous scenes. In Padikkadhavan he has
handled action also with consummate ease.
Recently the unit was shooting a few action
sequences in Karaikudi where the grandiose
of the shoot astonished the localites. Three
huge cars and three container lorries were
made to fly to a length of two tall palm trees
and their fall from the height was captured
beautifully by the camera man. It was said
that this scene had virtually silenced the
neighborhood due to its spectacular nature.
Another interesting trivia about the film
is that for the first time Vivek would be
teaming up with Dhanush and according to the
director their comedy would be the talk of
the town when the movie will be released.
