Every great protagonist needs a great antagonist and for Kochadaiyaan, Jackie Shroff is going to be Rajini's villain. According to sources, the scenes between these actors will be the highlight of the film as they have come out very well. The filming took place in Pinewood Studios, London.
About working with Rajini, Jackie Shroff said it was an absolute delight and he said that despite being the biggest star in the continent, Rajini is the complete professional with no airs. He was unwilling to say too much about his role though, preferring to maintain the suspense.
