A cheating case on Padiraj, the director of Marina, Pasanga and Vamsam has been filed with the Commissioner of Police, Chennai. Bala Murugan made the complaint alleging that Pandiraj has falsely publicized himself as the producer of the film Marina. The complaint said that, Balamurugan had given Pandiraj Rs. 50 Lacs to make the film. “But Pandiraj neither returned the full money, nor gave me the recognition of the producer”, said Bala Murugan.
In his defense Pandiraj said that Bala Murugan lent him only Rs 12.5 lacs, for which he has already paid Rs 15 lacs through court. He said he is also ready to pay Rs. 12.5 lacs more. The director has also said that all the allegations made by Bala Murugan were false.
