In connection with the centenary year celebration of Nagi Reddy, an award ceremony for the producer of the best commercial family entertainer of the year will be given. Elred Kumar will get the award for his the political thriller Ko, directed by KV Anand, starring Jiiva, Karthika Nair, Pia Bajpai and Ajmal.
The winner was adjudged by jury members K Bhagyaraj and Sowcar Janaki. The award function will be held at the Kamaraj Memorial Hall on May 1st where Elred Kumar will be presented with a cheque of Rs. 1.5 lacs. Singer Unni Menon will entertain the audience with his classics. AVM Saravanan, Vairamuthu, Prabhu, SA Chandrasekhar and Nadhiya will grace the event.
