Ileana may just do the heroine's role in the Hindi version of Vettai. Lingusamy wanted her in the Tamil version itself but unfortunately things did not work out. Now the director has asked her to keep her dates free for the Hindi remake which will be produced by UTV Motion Pictures and will have Shahid Kapoor and Ali Zafar reprising the roles made popular by Arya and Madhavan respectively.
Lingusamy is ready to begin shooting for the film in May and the first schedule will he held in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Now all that remains is for the makers to finalize the rest of the cast too.
