Vikram’s All India Fans Association celebrated the star’s birthday yesterday, April 17th, 2011 by distributing cash, tailoring machines, sarees, sweets, food donations, etc. The event was attended by directors Dharani and Vijay, Vikram’s father Vinodraj and the birthday boy Vikram.
The star handed over cash assistance amounting to 25,000 to his fan, late Mohanraj’s family and the same amount to Sasi Kumar of Ooty who lost his home to heavy rains. Other than this he donated sarees, tailoring machines, etc., to the needy.
Vikram also announced taking over the responsibility to financing the meal schemes for various orphanages and old age homes and handed over the cheques.
