Actor Jai is a huge fan of Ajith. He says that he is absolutely in awe of Thala who is very kind to him and is very generous with advice. Ajith has told him to work hard, choose his films carefully, and to give every role his best effort. Jai says that the biggest compliment he has received was when Ajith told him that he reminded him of himself in his early films like Amaravathi.
Jai says that he would have gladly worked as an assistant director in Mankatha, if Murugadoss had not offered him a meaty role in 7am Arivu. The aspiring actor says that Ajith inspires him and every minute spent with him is an education in itself!
