Popular playback singers Malaysia Vasudevan and Swarnalatha have sung over 500 songs. Both these eminent singers passed away recently shocking the film fraternity. As a mark of respect, a condolence meet was held recently at the Raja Annamalai Hall for these singers and their photograph was unveiled.
The head of the FEFSI union V.C. Guhanathan, head of the journalist's union Ravindra Das, Playback singer SN Surendar, Editor TS Subash, PRO union leader Vijay Murali and Cable TV union leader Kayal Illavarasu unveiled the photograph of the singers. The event was planned by Naveen Fine Arts and they had roped in the popular Raj TV music troupe 'Jeeva Ragam Shruthi' to perform some memorable numbers of Malaysia Vasudevan and Swanalatha.
