France’s film society called as ‘Film France’ is to honour some of the exceptional works of South Indian Film Industry. The French embassy in Chennai and its subsidiary in Pondicherry will also be holding a meeting with their authorities and some of the film producers of Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada Cinema on the 7th of April at Taj Connemara, Chennai. They will discuss about the facilities and locations available in France for shooting. France, as we know, is a picturesque location and the officials have brought in several ways to way shooting there an easy task.
Apart from this, awards will be given to deserving people who have shot their movie in France. Ajith’s Asal and Kamal Hassan’s Manmadan Ambu add a lot of awards into their kitty. The upcoming film by Prabhu Deva, Engeyum Kadhal has been shot extensively in France and this film is also winning a few awards from the France embassy even before its release.
