Producer-actor Farhan Akhtar completes a decade of his journey in showbiz and there hasn’t been any U-turns right from his maiden production ‘Dil Chahta Hai’. Joining hands together with his close pal Ritesh Sidhwani for ‘Excel Entertainment’, the production house has been churning out movies based on various genres.
Shedding light on his recent release ‘Game’ and upcoming releases ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ and ‘Don 2’, Farhan says, “We want every film to be different in genre and yet carry the ‘entertainment factors’ like romance, action, laughter and emotions. While ‘Game’ happened to be a suspense-thriller, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara will be a sang-froid entertainer loaded with more fun, music and laughter. ‘Don-2’ will be an edge-seated thriller with more commercial ingredients.”
Farhan Akhtar’s previous movies ‘Rock On’, ‘Luck By Chance’ and ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’ indeed proves of his statements as these flicks differed in genres, but proved to be decent hits in box office.
