Speaking at a programme in New Delhi, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Vijay reportedly said, “Hindi is not in danger. It is you who are in danger because your identity is nothing without Hindi.” He, further, added that Hindi could achieve its rightful place as national language with smooth inclusions and borrowings from other Indian languages, citing about the words of regional languages like Tamil and Telugu.
