A young man in his 20s was found hanging outside his home in Kerala’s Palakkad district on Thursday. In his suicide note, he reportedly said moral policing is the reason behind the extreme step. Reportedly, the man and his female friend were harassed by five men near a beach in Kollam on Valentine’s Day. They reportedly filmed the incident and circulated it in the social media.The police reportedly said the victim was upset and gloomy after the incident. Notably, the state human rights commission has taken suo motu case in the suicide.
