Indian columnist, humorist and writer Taarak Mehta has passed away at 87 on Wednesday. According to reports, Mehta had written several columns in Gujarati newspaper Divya Bhaskar. His column Duniya Ne Undha Chasma was made into a popular Hindi sitcom show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. Various literature and Bollywood personalities have offered condolences to the Mehta’s family.
