Wrestling federation of India reportedly recommended two-time olympic medallist Sushil Kumar’s name for Padma Bhushan. Sushil Kumar has reportedly won a Bronze medal in 2008 Olympics and a Silver medal in 2012 Olympics in 65 and 66 Kg categories respectively. The federation also recommended Kumar’s coach Yashvir Singh and female wrestler Alka Tomar for the award.
