Worlds only floating national park is located in India

The Keibul Lamjao National Park, placed in the Loktak Lake in Manipur, India, is known as the single floating national park in the world. The region is defined by 'phumdis', a Manipuri word relating to floating mats of soil and vegetation. Among various animal species, the park is a roof to the brow-antlered deer, which is regionally known as the 'Sangai'.
