The body of an official who attended the Ukraine-Russia talks has caused a stir.

Russia has been attacking Ukraine for more than a week. The talks between the two countries took place on the 28th of last month. Negotiations ended in failure as no amiable outcome was decided upon.

Ukraine's intelligence official Denis Kireev took part in the talks. His body was found near Bechersk court in Kiev, police said. He is said to have been prosecuted for treason. Ukrainian MP Alexander Dupinsky posted on his Twitter page that Denis Kireev had been shot dead for engaging in treason.
