The United States has warned of a possible nuclear test by North Korea next week.
North Korea has carried out six nuclear tests since 2006, despite UN Security Council resolutions. The last time North Korea tested a nuclear bomb was in September 2017. It was reported to be a hydrogen bomb.
Following this, the nuclear tests did not take place as North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was due to meet US President Donald Trump in 2018. Despite the failure of the 2nd meeting with Trump, North Korea did not test a nuclear bomb.
Now, the 110th birthday of North Korean founder Kim Il Sung is coming up on April 15th. North Korean President Kim Jong Un is reportedly planning to celebrate his grandfather's birth anniversary. A public holiday has been declared for the country on that day.
A U.S. Government official has released a sensational report stating that the North Korean President plans to test a nuclear weapon on his grandfather's 110th birthday. The official said, ‘I don’t want to speculate too much, but I think it could be another missile launch, it could be a nuclear test. Hopefully, the anniversary can pass without any further escalation."
