Authorities say a similar plane crashed on the same track in 2012, the same month. In 2012, the Dornier Do-228, owned by Agni Air, a local airline based in Nepal, flew from Pokhara to Jomsom.
The plane, which was trying to land, abandoned the plan and began flying around the airport. Then, one of the wings of the plane crashed into a hill. Fifteen of the 21 people on board were reported dead.
In this case, 10 years later, another plane crash in the same area has caused a stir around the world.
