France shocked by the attempt to smash world-famous Mona Lisa painting.
Mona Lisa painting
The world's largest Louvre Museum is located in Paris, the capital of France. The Mona Lisa, painted by the famous Italian painter Leonardo da Vinci, is preserved here. Its value is in the billions. This is why millions of tourists from all over the world visit this museum.
The day before yesterday, as usual, the Louvre Museum was overflowed with tourists. Then came an elderly woman in a wheelchair. As she approached the site of the Mona Lisa painting, she stood up and took off her wig, much to the shock of those present.
Attack
The man was dressed as a grandmother in a wheelchair and tried to break the Mona Lisa painting. However, his efforts were in vain as the painting was protected by bulletproof glass. Following this, the person smeared the cake he had brought on the glass. It shocked the people there.
It's now viral for people to take a photo of a cake - covered Mona Lisa and post it on social media.
Slogan
After painting the cake on the Mona Lisa painting, the man sprinkled rose petals on the security guards there, chanting, "Some people are destroying the earth. Think about the earth." After that, he was evacuated by security officials. The museum said the painting was not affected.
This is not the first time a Mona Lisa painting has come under attack. In 1956, someone threw acid on a Mona Lisa painting, damaging its lower part. It is noteworthy that after this the painting was safely placed inside the glass for the bomb hole.
Meanwhile, a video of a man disguising himself as a woman painting a cake on the world-famous Mona Lisa painting has gone viral on social media.
Maybe this is just nuts to me💀but an man dressed as an old lady jumps out of a wheelchair and attempted to smash the bullet proof glass of the Mona Lisa. Then proceeds to smear cake on the glass, and throws roses everywhere all before being tackled by security. 😂 ??? pic.twitter.com/OFXdx9eWcM
