The video of a whale landing on a tourist boat is currently going viral on social media.
A few days ago, a whale landed on a tourist boat in the sea area of Ahom in the Gulf of California in Mexico. Four people aboard a tourist boat were reportedly injured in the incident. Also, it is currently spreading virally as someone on a nearby boat took a video of a whale falling on the boat and posted it on Twitter.
4 injured
Authorities say two men and two women were among the four people aboard the whale's boat. The four injured in the whale collision have been admitted to a hospital in the Los Moses area for treatment. Doctors said one of the women suffered a broken leg, another suffered a broken chest and another suffered serious head injuries.
Warning
While the incident has come as a shock to the people of the area, Ahom Sea Chief of Defense Staff Omar Mendoza Silva said the whale would act in such a dangerous situation and urged tourist boats to avoid approaching the whales.
Ahom area mayor Gerardo Vargas warned, "We should only admire the majestic beauty of whales from a distance. Such actions are dangerous."
The Pacific Gray Whales, which replace the Humpback and Blue Whales, usually visit the area between December and March. However, officials say this is the first time such an incident has taken place.
Meanwhile, a video of a boat being damaged by a whale in Mexico is currently going viral on social media.
