The crash of one of the 14,000-foot adventure planes is currently going viral on social media.
For the first time in history
Last Sunday, the two pilots embarked on an adventure known as the plane swap for the first time in the world. That is, an attempt to jump from one plane to another is called a plane swap. The incident, which took place in the US state of Arizona, ended in tragedy.
Two pilots, Luke Aikins and Andy Farrington from the United States, were involved in the training. They are part of the Red Bull Company and are trained in an adventure called Sky Diving.
Plane Swap
According to the adventure plan, a single-passenger Cessna 182 will have to fly at an altitude of about 14,000 feet. When both planes approach, the pilots must jump to the opposite plane and take control of that aircraft. This will only take about 1 minute. They are involved in this adventure while flying at 140 miles per hour.
Tragedy
But, this adventure did not take place as planned. When one of the pilots jumped out, the plane lost control and began to spin. Thus, he was forced to land safely by parachute with no other option. Fortunately, both pilots returned safely to the ground despite the failure of the adventure plan.
