The Indian Ambassador to Canada has officially announced that 5 Indian students were killed in an accident in Canada last Saturday.

Five Indian students were killed in a road accident near Toronto on Saturday. Two others have been admitted to hospital. The Indian Embassy in New Delhi is in touch and assistance is being rendered to them. "
Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar has taken to Twitter to offer his condolences following the death of five students in a road accident in Canada. "I offer my condolences to the families of those killed in the road accident in Canada and pray for the recovery of the injured," he said in a statement.
