In China's Yancheng a 31-year-old woman surnamed Zhang, who was kept on life support for 10 days after her heart stopped beating, was finally revived and is now on the road to recovery. Doctors diagnosed her with acute viral myocarditis, a viral infection of the heart that can lead to death, after she was rushed to hospital following a cardiac arrest. Cardiologists were roped in and her heartbeat resumed and stabilized five days later.
