FRIENDS - the TV show that was telecasted between 1994 and 2004 is still the most favourite show for generations. Unbound by time, the show manages to entertain people of all ages.
The show ended 15 years ago but it still gets $1 billion each year for the Warner Brothers. The main cast - Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courtnet Cox, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc - still earn $20 million each year.
The fame is too high that binge watching FRIENDS is a tradition for people. There are various themed cafes and groups for the like minded people.
The show revolves around six 20s something friends and it is a show everyone can relate to at some point in their life.
However, while watching FRIENDS can destress people, one diehard fan found herself in a situation after she was sued for it.
A former employee of legendary actor Robert De Niro’s production company, Canal Productions, is sued for allegedly watching 55 episodes of FRIENDS during work hours, reports Vulture.
The girl, Chase Robinson, was hired by De Niro himself as an assistant, is now facing a $6 million law suit. She then became the vicepresident.
Breach of ‘fiduciary duties’ and violation of the ‘faithless service doctrine and conversion’ were some of the allegations kept against her. The lawsuit also stated that she used the company's credit card for personal use. The most bizarre was suing her for watching show on Netflix.
