WOMAN SCARED AFTER SEEING 'BABY GHOST' IN CHILD'S BED; SHARES PHOTO ON SOCIAL MEDIA 

Mothers are usually very protective about their kids and their daily habits. So was this woman from US's Illinois city, who was shocked to see a “baby ghost” sleeping next to her son in his crib one night. 

The woman has been identified as Maritza Elizabeth, who checked on her 18-month-old son on the baby monitor.

After seeing the monitor, the woman saw “another child” lying next to her baby. The next day she took to social media and posted saying that, "So, last night I was positive there was a ghost baby in the bed with my son. I was so freaked out, I barely slept." 

“I even tried creeping in there with a flashlight while my son was sleeping,” the post added.

Only the next day, she got to know that the “ghost” was, in reality, a print on the mattress. “Well, this morning I go to investigate a bit further. It turns out my husband just forgot to put the mattress protector on when he changed the sheets…I could kill him,” she says.

Elizabeth’s post went viral on social media hours after she posted it. Many sympathised with her while others asked as to why she waited till the next morning to find out.
