In China, a waitress at a Hunan Province restaurant was fired after she took video of two women breastfeeding at their table. The customers said the waitress admitted to filming them and management offered them 1,000 yuan each in compensation. The two women reportedly claimed the restaurant manager said the waitress was collecting evidence according to their food waste policy, which charges customers extra if they waste food. However, the director of the restaurant distanced the restaurant from the incident, and the waitress was fired from her job.
